  1. Production indicates approximately 8 acres were mined.
  2. The source map showed a “Schaefer” label near the mine outline that was also labeled “Big Four”. Schaeffer apparently re-opened the abandoned mine. Other operators may have worked this mine between 1902 and 1905.
