  1. The company was not listed in the Coal Reports of 1998 through 2001, and is known only through newspaper articles about lawsuits regarding lack of mining permits. The notes indicate that less than 5,000 tons had been sold and “a few thousand tons” of coal was still stockpiled on site on the ground in 2000, but that by March 2001, all the equipment had been removed and the owner had filed for bankruptcy.
