  1. The Coal Reports indicated the mine name was Mehrhoff Mine in 1938 and 1941. Mehrhoff may have owned the mine or been a partial owner in 1941, but it is possible Mehrhoff opened the mine between 1930 and 1933 when mines producing less than 1,000 tons per year were not listed in the Coal Reports (and the mine may have been idled in 1934 pending the sale).
