Notes

  1. According to the field notes, the mine at this location was also known as the Wildcat Mine.
  2. Production after map date
  3. Production after map date
  4. The microfilm map had no surface features to register the mine workings to the land surface. The USGS hadincluded the slope location, and put the mine name on the topographic map. The microfilm was then scaled correctlyand aligned with the slope location. Generally, the preferred method is to have two or more surface features to alignthe mine map for georegistration, no the use of a secondary source for alignment.
