Notes

  1. Production was not listed in the Coal Reports. Between 1930 and 1934, mines producing less than 1,000 tons per year were not reported. The tipple was reported to have been located in Braidwood, but “only a couple loads of coal” were hauled.
  2. The mine outline was digitized around a small pond on the 1:24000 USGS 7.5-minute Wilmington Quadrangle topographic map to correspond to the strip pit shown in the sketches in the field notes and correspondence between D. J. Fisher and G. Cady (with an attached 15-minute topographic map).
