Mining in the Bloomfield Quadrangle
Mining has only been identified in one location on the Bloomfield Quadrangle. In 1933, H. R. Wanless identified a abandoned coal mine, which was later visited by J. M. Weller in 1939 (mine index 7967). Other mines may have existed, but they have not been identified.
