MINED BY SHRINKAGE METHODS. THE KNIGHT MINE DEVELOPS A SW EXTENSION OF THE EMPIRE VEIN. IN 1926 A VERTICAL SHAFT 60 FT DEEP WAS SUNK JUST TO THE WEST OF THE VEIN. FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE SHAFT A CROSS CUT WAS DRIVEN INTO THE VEIN. DEVELOPMENT REVEALED FLUORSPAR 2.4 TO 4 FT WIDE.
