IN 1905, THIS MINE WAS ONE OF THE BEST KNOWN MINES NEAR GALENA.

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF A HONEYCOMB DEPOSIT. ONE OF THE LARGEST TOP-RUN MINES IN THE DISTRICT.

The Ore Is Richest Where Small N-S Striking Crevices Cross The Main E-W Crevice.

ORE OCCURS IN A BRECCIA ALONG EASTWARD-TRENDING MINERALIZED JOINT. THE PROSSER CHERTY MEMBER IS PART OF THE GALENA DOLOMITE.

THE ORE BODY WAS 40 FT THICK, 800 FT LONG, AND AS MUCH AS 30 FT WIDE. THE DEPOSIT IS ALONG TWO NEARLY PARALLEL E-W STRIKNING CREVICES. WATER FLOW IS REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN FAIRLY STRONG.
