Mining in the McNabb Quadrangle
The mining in the McNabb Quadrangle consists of two longwall mines that extended southward from the Spring Valley Quadrangle. The Colchester Coal was generally around 3 feet thick. The outlines for both mines are not final, and mining may extend further into the area than shown on the accompanying map.
