  1. ISGS field notes (Willman, 1931) stated that Hydraulic Press Brick mined coal previously, but the local coal was low-grade, and good coal was cheap, implying they would no longer mine their own coal for brick production. These older areas of mining were indicated on the source map as “old works” and the mined extent was not specifically designated.
  2. Production not reported 1930-1933 for mines producing less than 1000 tons per year. Idle 1937.
