Notes

  1. The Coal Report of 1897 included a paragraph on this mine, stating that the pillars had been robbed to such an extent that a "general squeeze was induced, resulting in a cave-in under a small creek", which resulted in a great deal of water in the mine, flooding this mine and an adjacent slope mine. (The adjacent mine is unknown.)
  2. Production and ownership prior to 1883 are not known. The Coal Report of 1883 indicates 20 acres were mined.
