The undated field notes indicated the mine was active or accessible when visited and extended 125 yards into the hillside; the mine may have been active during the 1930-1933 period when the Coal Reports did not list mines producing less than 1000 tons per year. Other unknown miners may have operated this mine (see the back of this report for unlocated mines) between 1894 and 1930.
