No gas was reported at this mine. There was a slight dip overall to the northeast. A few slight faults were said to be present. The floor was a soft clay underlain by sandstone.

  1. Much confusion is associated with all the mines that include “Peacock” in their company name (mine index numbers 267, 2485, 4625 and 718). With no company map to provide more concrete evidence, both shaft locations are retained, although it is likely only one shaft was used for the production shown below for index 718.
