Notes
- ↑ The annual Coal Report lists production from 11 different Ratcliffe mines between 1914 and 1929. The productionassigned to this mine was based on the closing date given on the microfilm map; no other production figures for the Ratcliffe mines can be assigned to a location. The Ratcliffe mines produced a total of 123,837 tons, which would mine out 35 to 50 acres of coal.
- ↑ The microfilm map indicates that this mine is bordered on the north and east by old workings, and the coal outcrops on the west side. There was not enough information on the map to register or digitize; the east-west location can be approximated, but the north-south location of the mine was not discernable. Because of this uncertainty, the outline is shown on the map as a secondary source.
