Notes

  1. Production from 1932 and 1933 is not known. Mines producing less than 1,000 tons per year were not listed in the Coal Reports.
  2. The outline and shaft location drawn on the 1950 Mined Out Area map were designated as "Quade", after John C. Quade who made maps and reports in the mid-1930s for the Federal Land Bank of St. Louis. The scale of the maps included with the Federal Land Bank reports was generally approximately 1:130000, while the 1950 Mined Out Area maps were drawn at 1:62500.
