  1. Not shown on the accompanying map because of later surface mining. The mine location on source maps for the Cambria Mine were incorrect, and the same surveyor gave two different locations (E ½ NE SW 29-T8S-R1E and SE NW 29-T8S-R1E). A secondary source (map of Number Six Coal Company) was used to locate the mine, because there weren’t enough features (section corners, streams or railroads) to deduce the correct location from the Cambria Mine (mine index 3949) source maps.
