  1. The location of this mine is not known. The mine’s address was Morris, but mining occurred north and south of the town. This mine may be in the Morris Quadrangle.
  2. The 1898 Coal Report stated that Milo E. Howe bought the mine formerly operated by Charles Heather, but abandoned it after operating the mine for a short time. The production during that short time was not reported or the production was listed under Charles Heather.
