Start Date: 1909 End Date: 1929
Type of Mine: Underground
Total acres shown: 3

Shaft, Slope, Drift or Tipple Location(s)

Type County Township-Range Section Part Section
Main drift Fulton 6N 4E 15 SW The locations are not presented with any further accuracy than the quarter-section as the source map had little to aid mine placement or scaling. The mine location shown on the accompanying map is controversial and based only on the orientation of the drift opening to a ravine. ISGS field notes taken by T. E. Savage indicate the Bath Mine was located in the NW NW SW 15-T6N-R4E (and would be completely obliterated by Mine Index 674, Little Sister Mine),but the drift opening seems unlikely in the flat topography that existed at that location (pre-surface-mining topography). The mine was positioned in a likely location specified by the legend on mine map (SW 15-T6N-R4E).
