Geological Problems Reported
The roof was sometimes white top, sometimes up to 3 feet of black shale, and sometimes 5 feet of limestone. Where the limestone was directly above the white top, the roof was hard to keep up. The roof held up better in the north-south direction than in the east-west direction.
