Geological Problems Reported

The Colchester Coal had occasional pyrite lenses and numerous nodules. The nodules were flattened ovals, up to 3 inches across. Pyrite and calcite were present on vertical facings. Clay dikes were present, some as small as 0.1 inch wide, while others were several inches to a foot wide.
