- ↑ This mine is located in a general area of mining depicted on the 1934 Federal Land Bank Report map. Previous mining nearby is indicated.
- ↑ The location of a proposed air shaft was shown on the source map, but the mine closed before the workings extended to the air shaft location. Since the Lanham No. 2 Mine only operated 53 days in 1950, and the air shaft was only “proposed” on the February source map, construction of the air shaft was probably minimal and is not shown on the accompanying map.
