↑ Exact dates of operation are not known. Production was not reported for the period from 1882 to 1910. Based on the area mined, production not recorded may have been about two million tons.
↑ Idle 1929 to 1933; included in list of idle mines under the name of Lincoln Coal Company.
↑ Included on a map of Panther Creek properties dated 2-5-1931, and labeled “No. 6, abandoned”. No production listed under this name.
↑ Maps of the south part of the mine are not very detailed. Rooms are not shown and the entries are open to the south. The Illinois State Fairgrounds may have been undermined.
